Etat : Fair. 1883. 3rd edition. 964 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine. Vol II. Includes illustrated plates. Pages have slight foxing, moderate tanning and minor thumbing. Intense cracking to hinges with exposed netting. Bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Slight dog-eared corners and edge tears. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed with some loss to upper spine. Joints worn too with splits. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright.
