The US nuclear attack submarine Tigerfish is sent to the North Pole to rescue the personnel of Drift Ice Station Zebra, a British research weather station that has sent out multiple distress signals. Most of the submarine's crew is unaware, however, that the mission is a front for a highly classified assignment involving Soviet saboteurs and stolen satellite technology. Nominated for two Academy Awards, including one for Best Cinematography. Set in the Arctic. 8 x 10 inches. One with light creases to the top left corner, else Near Fine.

The second film adaptation of Hemingway's novel, and the final film produced by David O. Selznick. Set in Italy and Switzerland, shot on location in Italy. Yellow titled wrappers, with credits for screenwriter Ben Hecht and producer David O. Selznick. Distribution page present, with receipt intact, rubber-stamped copy No. 75. Title page present, dated October 22, 1956, with credits for screenwriter Ben Hecht. 194 leaves, with last page of text numbered 191. Mimeograph duplication on eye-rest green stock, rectos only, with eye-rest green revision pages dated from 11/5/56 to 11/6/56.
