A nice copy of the first edition, first printing (1941), the first volume which eventually evolved to become the National Register of Historic Places, now overseen by the National Park Service, this volume compiled and edited by the Historic American Buildings Survey of the National Park Service. Near Fine. Text is tight and clean. Lettering to front board is bright and unflaked, a bit duller to the spine. Some light foxing/soiling to text edges. No previous owners' names. Not ex-lib.
