Doolittle was best known for the daring Doolittle Raid on Tokyo during World War II (believed to be a suicide mission when first planned), and as namesake for the Doolittle Award for achievement in aerospace technology. Black hardcover with dustajcket. The book is in very good condition with a small bump to the lower edge of the front cover, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [14.95] and has two tiny closed tears, no chips. Signed By the Author and By Gen. J. H. Doolittle. First Edition. Hard Cover.
