Various pagination, but about 590pp, (10x7 inches), b&w illustrations, tables. Only Fair condition, hardcover, no dust jacket. Bound in red cloth over boards, with gilt titles. Boards lightly worn and soiled, corners and spine ends are frayed, with a one inch tear at head of spine. Front and rear hinges (inside) are loose and wobbly, and the book has been cracked open about halfway through. But the binding is sewn and so everything is still firmly attached. Pages show very light yellowing, otherwise clean and tight, no tears or creases, no markings. A clipping about D.L. Moody's mother Betsey is laid into the book, as well as a handwritten note about the apostle Paul. The owner's penciled name is on the frond endpaper. The exact title of the book is: "Cruden's Concordance to the Holy Scriptures in a Single Alphabet Being the Most Comprehensive and Concise of Any before Published, in Which Not Only Any Word or Passage of Scripture May Be Easily Found, But the Signification Also is Given of All Proper Names Mentioned in the Sacred Writings. [and] A Complete Companion and Study Guide of the Bible, Index to the Bible and Wemyss's Symbol Dictionary. Chronological and Other Tables." This is a heavy book so international shipping will require an extra charge.
