Pictorial hardcover has worn edges and corners, warped boards, some discolouration to rear, and a few scuffs on front. Text block separated from covers. Soiling and thumbing within as well as a few tears. Ink stamp at bottom of rear inside cover. Illustrations are still bright and wonderful and the amusing verse entirely legible.

Jessie Pope 1868 - 1941) was known as a patriotic English poet, writer and journalist, best known for her patriotic motivational poems published during WW !
