References to early "studies" indicate the foundational rationale (debunked in recent centuries) that brain sizes vary by race with whites having the larger, followed by blacks and "red" men. Hence, a pathway was established in supporting racial prejudices through American history. Very good. No dust jacket. Light page block soiling. Nice covers. First edition. "Textbook Edition".
