Etat : Good. 1953. 788 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean.

Volume i-ii: The book is in very good condition with no marks and the previous owners name etc written on the fep. There is staining to the edge of the front cover. The dustwrapper is in poor condition and is not price clipped. There is significant loss to the bottom of the spine and rear cover, as well as the front cover which is stained to the edge. There is also creasing to the edges. The wrapper comes with a clear unattached protective cover. Volume iii-iv: The book has no marks or inscriptions. There is a very small dent on the spine/front cover join and the cover has a some marks along the front edge. No dustwrapper. Please note that this set is heavy and will require extra postage.
