Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. 1st Edition. Linen-backed grey paper-covered boards, printed in black on wove paper. Gravure frontispiece by Ottoline Morrell and four facsimiles (some colour) of the author's manuscript. Cloth-backed paper-covered boards, titled in black. Endpaper inscribed by J.G. Wilson of Bumpus. A very good copy indeed. This distinctly bizarre book, produced apparently out of gratitude at Bridges signing Jones's copy of 'The Testament of Beauty', is the first book to be printed in 14-point Linotype Estienne. The colophon at the rear which suggests a limitation of 250 copies misleads, insofar it is merely a facsimile of the colophon in W.E. Rudge's edition of the book.
