Hardcover. Etat : Fair. 1st Edition. Undated but c.1950 first edition hardback in fair condition. Contemporary owner's name and date on inside cover. A few light marks to prelims and occasional main pages. The front hinge is worn but still firmly attached, binding seems quite tight, no loose pages. The black cloth boards have rubbing to edges and corners, a few marks and general wear. No dust jacket. But a sound enough reading copy. Items are dispatched the same or the following working day. Thin light rubbed patches to bottom of front & rear boards edges and vertical to frontside spine edges. Edges: moderate foxing. Eps: foxing; signature to fep and single name to head ffep. Few only faint foxing to a very few only pages margins. Illustrated drawings. Binding is As New. 214p Dj: light age yellowing and dusting of soiling. Spine: missing 2cm from head & foot. Top-edge: small tears, some open pieces missing and chips.

Etat : Good. Revised Edition. 80 pages. Green paper covers. Black and white photographic plates. Minor foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges and reverse of covers.Hinges are lightly cracked and torn but covers remain firmly attached. Paper covers have noticeable edge-wear and corner curling with minor tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with minor rolling and creasing.
