(light shelfwear to extremities, rear inner hinge starting). Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Book.

I don't think it was read at Wesleyan and can't say about Buck, but still it shows expected wear and the addition to the spine of black so a shelf number could be added in white. Those librarians. Printed by the Lakeside Press. 90 pp. Billy Baxter is a pen name for the author whose picture appears as the frontispiece. Several other line drawing illustrations. Short amusing stories written in epistolary form. Gray cloth cover with an unusual cover design with a decorated mailbox in dark blue below large title and author lettering in red. The design is repeated on the back cover. The cover is signed with the initials of its designer, Frank Hazenplug. TEG and side and bottom page edges deckled. This copy is clean inside and out with a little bit of soil or wear at the very bottom. Near fine overall.
