Soft cover. Etat : Very Good. 1st Edition. Offered is a first edition, first (and only) printing of "Joshua: A Novel" written and signed by author Virgil A. Kraft and published in 1988 by Cathedral Press (although not stated, out of Long Prairie, Minnesota). A softcover measuring 5-1/2" by 8-1/2" and containing 176 pages. Signed by the author ("Virgil A. Kraft") in blue pen on the title page. From the rear cover: "Dear Friends: At last I have been able to prepare a chronicle of those wondrous events which have taken place since the appearance of Joshua. Because of his dauntless, beneficent spirit and his deeds among us, amazing transformations and unhappy divisions have occurred. Undoubtedly he was an agent of God. He called himself by the same name as our Lord who walked the earth nearly 2,000 years ago, and whom the Greeks and we today call JESUS. Many believe Joshua was actually Jesus Christ returned. Many others believe he was of special godliness, but unwittingly an impostor. I let Joshua's life speak for itself. As to his true identity, God alone can reveal this to you. The manner of Joshua's appearance was both momentous and perplexing. Here is a true account told to me by the ones to whom he was first revealed and whom he trusted most." [Please note that this is a novel]. Covers lightly rubbed and show light edge and corner wear in places. Virgil A. Kraft (1910-1988) had been a Methodist Minister and Associate Pastor of the Peoples Church of Chicago. Signed by Author(s).
