This pamphlet/booklet is soft-bound in colorful, pictorial cover wrappers. There is edge-wear, wear to the spine, and some rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. There is damp-staining to the bottom right corner of the lower cover, bottom left corner of the upper cover, and the bottom of the spine. The damp-staining is persistent throughout at the bottom of the center margin. There is some previous owner notations in pen and highlighting. The folding map at the front has a previous owner name written on the verso in blue marker. This pamphlet is good for reading or reference.

This "Standard Historical Guide Book on "GETTYSBURG" with numerous maps and illustrations" appears to be an originally paperbound document cased to preserve it. The The interior has a color cover with images of Lee and Meade and a color phitogravure of "The Battlfield". A map is laid in between front cover and first free endpaper. Original covers are worn and creased with small tears; interior pages discolored by age but clean and not brittle. Hardcover binding is very good with some rubbing at the bottom of front board. No liiustration on boards. Previous owner's bookplate inside front board. Brown stains along interior edges of boards and in gutters between endpapers and free endpapers, possibly glue staining. Numerous photos, maps, charts, etc, along with Roster List of Federal Army and Monument list. Edge tear on pages 161-164. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
