Contemporary worn brown calf binding with richly gilt spine. A few dampstains. Map with brown spot. * Bibl. Dan. II,595. The first edition was published 1706. Detailed eyewitness account of Denmark by a diplomat in British service. The Island of Hven in the Sound became Swedish in 1660 and owed its reputation to Tycho Brahe who lived and studied there from 1575 to 1598.
