Later printing. A collection of fourteen stories, twelve from the twenty published in OSYNLIGA IANKAR (1894), plus two more. Some of them exploit local legends, folk beliefs and superstitions, a recurring source of material for Lagerlof, whose interest in the supernatural ran through many of her books.
