No dust jacket. 581 pages with portraits and maps throughout (including a fold-out family tree of the Sovereigns of Scotland from the beginning of the eleventh to 1901). Edge and corner wear and light marks to the cloth, with some crushing to the head and tail of the spine but otherwise the binding is sound. Internally, the pages are clean and free of inscriptions and annotations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Weight: 920g.

Square, tight and clean throughout with a touch of wear to edges and tips but quite minor. Some minor scuffing to cloth. Off-white pages with no foxing whatsoever. A gorgeous collectible copy.
