Etat : Fair. 1853. No Edition Remarks. 309 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Quarter bound green leather with green cloth covered boards. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Volume II. Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages remain attached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Water staining to some page edges, text remains unaffected. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges. Chipping to leather to spine.

Edited by Sir George Larpent.The private journal of Francis Seymour Larpent, concerned with Lord Wellington and the Peninsular War from 1812.Complete with half titles. In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally with light bumping and chipping to head and tail of spine and extremities, boards only lightly rubbed. Backstrip gently cocked forward. Previous ownership ink inscription to front free endpaper rubbed out. Front hinges vol. I slightly strained, boards holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor odd spotting to occasional leaf, pages otherwise generally bright and clean. Good. book.
