One of an edition limited to 75 numbered copies SIGNED by the author, of which this is copy number '16'. A further 26 copies were lettered A to Z and 7 presentation copies numbered I to VII. There were 13 copies reserved for the artist, printer and publisher. Original quarter ochre leather with blue cloth over boards by the Fine Book Bindery, title label in recess on front board, light brown endpapers. Designed and printed by John Grice of the Evergreen Press using Centaur type on Magnani Velata Avorio paper. Super Octavo. 10½" x 7½", pp. [24] with a coilagraph by Hester Cox entitled 'Blackbird in the Briar'. A book in Fine condition in a clear, archival-quality, protective display pocket.
