Etat : Good. 1952. First Edition. 130 pages. Illustrated dustjacket over blue cloth. Includes black & white plates. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding is weak. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Bookplate to front endpaper. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. Clipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Spine is heavily tanned.

Light staining, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Unclipped dust jacket with moderate rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Boards are slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Moderate tanning and creasing, with rubbing and marking. Ring mark to rear endpaper.

Hardcover. Etat : Fair. First Edition. Dustwrapper rubbed to edges with some creasing and tears and a couple of small chips. Spine is faded but titles still readable. Wrapper has been internally repaired with special non acidic archive tape and is now in a clear removable protective sleeve. Free front end paper is missing. The are no inscriptions and text is in good order, illustrated, hinges tight. Good reference copy.
