No Binding. Etat : Collectible-Fine. circa.1940. Original publicity photo (8 x 10 inch) of the two members standing side by side in suits. The comedy team of Lum (playing by Chester Lauck, 1902-1980) and Abner (played by Norris Goff, 1906-1978) got their start in local Arkansas radio. Their characters portrayed humorous hillbilly life. In the 1930s Lum and Abner had a show on national radio. They also did a series of movies in the 1940s. After Lum and Abner had ran its course, Chester Lauck retired from show business, but Goff continued to make some appearances in TV into the 1960s. Fine clean copy.
