A handsome production in Fine condition in a dust jacket that is price-clipped, but otherwise Fine. MacDiarmid was born Christopher Murray Grieve and was a contemporary of Pound and Eliot, and, per John Weston, deserves to be ranked among Yeats. This edition is edited with marginal gloss in English, along with Weston's explanatory notes and background info. A couple newspaper clippings pertinent to MacDiarmid are now in a mylar sleeve, laid-in. The dust jacket, particularly bright, is now preserved in a removable, archival sleeve.
