No Binding. Etat : Very Good. Drawn By Spy (illustrateur). First. A fine original colour lithograph from Vanity Fair, a magazine which was published from 1869-1914, featuring a large caricature portrait each week. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Lord MacDuff, with the caption "Irish obstruction". With accompanying biographical details. Alexander William George Duff, 1st Duke of Fife, KG, KT, GCVO, VD, PC (10 November 1849-12 January 1912), styled Viscount Macduff between 1857 and 1879 and The Earl Fife between 1879 and 1889, was a Scottish peer who married Princess Louise of Wales, the third child and eldest daughter of Edward VII of the United Kingdom and Alexandra of Denmark.
