Dust-jacket is intact though heavily faded and yellowed, large chunks missing at top and bottom of spine, much creasing, chipping and wear along edges.

The birth and growth of five Alaskan sled dog puppies who eventually learn to pull. Ghi was not the largest or the strongest but he liked to GO and after an attempt at putting the largest dog in front, who wasn't interested in pulling, Ghi showed the family by chewing himself loose from the rear of the team and running in front. This cause the other dogs to follow and that is how Ghi became the leader of the young boy's sled team.
