Etat : Good. 1919. Second Impression. 108 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Etat : Fair. 1918. First Published. 114 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pencil inscription to front pastedown. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with prominent staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Naval adventure story of the first world war.

Heavy cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding is slightly loose, with a pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down. Slight tear to title page. A few small nicks and water drops along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean and bow. Small split to spine end. Water drops down spine.
