Also poetry and drama ("El Visitador, año de 1567"), and the pages devoted to the almanac itself. All editions of this almanac for señoritas mexicanas are rare. WorldCat locates only three copies of the present first year: the Newberry Library, El Colegio de Mexico and Univ. de Monterrey. Contemporary polished black ornately stamped calf, spine elaborately and beautifully decorated in gilt, a.e.g. All plates with original tissue-guards intact. Neat old private Mexican booklabel on front pastedown. Corners show a bit of wear, but a fine copy, the binding bright and internally pristine.
