She is best known for her illustrations of Mother Goose rhymes in Ella Dolbear Lee's Mother Goose Book, but also contributed to Ladies Home Journal and Women's Home Companion. Her other books include The Blue Domers and illustrations of Grimm's Fairy Tales and Anderson's Fairy Tales. Lee also did advertising illustrations, including artwork for Coca-Cola ads.
