Etat : DISCRETO USATO. Francese Opera incompleta, piatto anteriore completamente distaccato alla costa, coperta con segni e mancanze da fattore tempo, sovraccoperta trasparente con lieve usura ai margini, struttura del libro non completamente integra, legatura allentata, pagine intonse e con imbrunitura, margini irregolari e punte stanche, testo comunque fruibile, numero pagine 907.

Massillon (1663 - 1742) was a French Catholic bishop and famous preacher, Bishop of Clermont, Advent preacher at the court of Versailles from 1699, from 1719 a member of the Acadèmie Francaise.

Renouard, an X-1802, in-8 molto piccolo (dimensioni di un in-16), bella legatura coeva in pieno marocchino rosso scuro a grana schiacciata, dorso liscio con nervi simulato da filetti, titolo e fregi neoclassici in oro negli scomparti, piatti inquadrati da cornicetta a motivi fitomorfi dorata, labbri decorati, tagli in oro, nastrino segna-pagine in seta,cofanetto in cartone "radicato" pp. [6], 325, [3]. Bell'esemplare.

Petit manque angulaire affectant une page de titre ainsi qu'un feuillet de texte. Rares rousseurs dans le texte. Nonobstant, belle condition.

( In französischer Sprache ) Mit VI *Avetissement*, 1 Blatt ( Inhalt ), 583 Seiten mit einigen gestochenen Vignetten im Text. Oldr mit goldgeprägtem schmalen Einbandrücken, umlaufendem roten Farbschnitt und marmorierten Vorsatzpapieren, 8° ( 17 x 10 cm ). Der Einband ist berieben, gering fleckig ( Rückdeckel stärker fleckig ), Ecken und Kanten teils stärker bestoßen ( Ecken teils stark bestoßen ). Innen ein alter Besitzstempel auf dem Titelblatt *Antonio Joaquim Neves Viera*, wenige Seiten gering angeknickt. Innen von guter Erhaltung.
