Boyle here not only revises McAlmon's 1938 memoir, but adds alternating chapters, makes corrections, and expands upon his portraits of figures of the day. Dated (May 6, 1968) and INSCRIBED by Boyle to the [Schevills], "With musical and poetical / love to Margot and / Jim - / Kay / San Francisco." There is also a correction in Boyle's hand to the photo credits on page xii.
