First edition in book form (hardback). 4to (29cm by 23cm), xx, 428pp, xxxvi [adverts]. Text illustrations throughout. Original burgundy cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine. The titling is a little dulled on the spine, there is some rubbing of the binding, the endpapers are foxed, the contents are VG; overall, this book is in good to very good condition. Includes sections on Austin, Ford, Nuffield, Rootes, Rover, Standard, Vauxhall and other cars.

Despite this, the boards remain strong and sturdy. Internally, there is light marking on the early pages and tanning throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are neat, legible and complete.
