Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Tanning to spine and edges.

Original red cloth with black lettering on the spine, boards are clean and sharp just a bit toned and bumped. Overall a well preserved copy. Usual toning and shelf wear should be expected.

Card cover (hardcover). Etat : Good. First Edition. No printing date on the book but probably mid 1930s. Believed to be a first edition but bibliographic information about McKeag's work is hard to come by. Contains the novel The Man from the Gallows and a short story Criminal Gratitude. The boards have damage to the outer edges of the front and rear panels where the surface has been worn off with the card exposed in a few places. A little wear around the top and bottom of the spine also. Spotting to the insides of the covers. Pages browned but otherwise unmarked. No jacket.

A clean copy in red cloth and with black lettering on the spine and News of the World advert at the rear, boards are bright just a little rubbed and bumped. 254 pages just tanned with time and having occasional brown spots, publishers adverts on opening pages, end papers and book edge are speckled. Overall a well preserved copy. Usual toning and shelf wear should be expected. A scarce copy!.
