Includes list of hosts, roll of former Park Commissioners, guests and speeches. Photo and discussion of "The Barkley Chair, 1787". Also included is a five-page list of names and addresses of all surviving pioneers resident in or about Vancouver before the arrival of the first trans-continental passenger train, 23rd May, 1887 (163 invited - 81 attended). Finally, included is a list of the names of all 125 petitioners to the Province of British Columbia to change the name of the Village of Granville to the City of Vancouver in 1886. Printed upon glossy stock with black and white illustrations and reproductions of archival photos. Average wear. Unmarked. A sound copy of this interesting piece of Vancouver history.
