The green cloth hardcover is in very nice shape (near fine) except for slight foxing on upper pages edge and minor paper fragments left on inside front cover where (it appears) a paste-down picture were removed. The DJ (VG- to VG condition) has minor rubbing to corners and edges with few tiny tears. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Many of the buildings captured in this enchanting record have now disappeared. She could be said to be the visual equivalent of Joyce who captured the essence of Dublin in his monumental Ulysses. Quarto. ix, 101pp. Light foxing to the page edges and a tiny bit of tanning on the endleaves else fine in a fine dust jacket with just a hint of foxing and creasing at the crown. Inscribed by Mitchell to a couple, "To remember Dublin as they knew it." Fifty of Mitchell's critically acclaimed watercolors of Dublin are reproduced here along with descriptions. Only 600 copies were printed and the plates used to reproduce the paintings were destroyed shortly after. A beautiful copy.
