White marks to boards. Textblock is shaky.

Cloth. Etat : Good. Bound in plain green pebbled cloth covered boards with gilt title on spine. Somewhat shaken, corners rubbed and bumped with fraying of cloth, especially at head and foot of spine. This edition augmented by their son John and with an introduction from WM. M. Taylor contains two pasted in portrait photo illustrations; one of Robert as frontispiece, the other an oval of Mary later in the text. The story of Scottish missionaries in Africa in a time of English imperialism who were involved in; politics, religion, business, printing, language as well bible translation work [Wikipedia]. Good only, somewhat scarce.
