Seven short stories, with sections told in Yorkshire dialect. One features a local woodland deity; another is a tall tale about a potato patch, a strange dream and the resurrection of a pig; another is a grim tale of a suicide. This book was also issued in paper wrappers. Signed and dated by two early owners on the front free endpaper. Free endpapers tanned, a nearly fine copy. (#116929).
