Located among the hills and sand dunes of the northwestern margins of the central Negev, Rehovot-in-the-Negev has been one of the less-visited and less-known Byzantine desert towns. This is the account of excavations carried out there between 1975 and 1979. Author's signature with inscription to FFEP thus: "To Prof. [Dennis] Harding with his Best Wishes Yoram Tsafrir Inst. of Archaeology Jerusalem 1989". Small areas of rubbing to board extremities and light foxing to top edge. The book is otherwise in excellent condition. There are no other inscriptions and all contents are tight and clean.
