Half calf over marbled boards, VG+. 178+[ii]+178+[ii]pp attractive small binding, contrasting red & black lettering pieces, binding a little rubbed, contents in fine condition. small vignette at the end of the text, bound without titles, but including the dedication to each part. Two volumes bound together from the popular Percy Anecdotes series, which was intended 'to combine instruction with amusement; with scrupulous regard to truth, to probability, and to morals'. They were published in 40 parts between 1820 & 1823. 350 grams.
