Top page edges gilded. 393 pages plus fold-out of maps at back. 13 chapters. 25 photo illustraitons. Flyleaf has corner clipped. Preliminary page has a 1947 note "To Sir Robert Bruce Lockhart from his Swedish publisher as a moment of his visit to Stockholm 2.10-47 Karl Olson" with blue pen. A later gift notation below on the same page. Top front leather corner cover has a little smudge otherwise the volume almost appears like new. Very good condition.
