Hardcover. Etat : FINE. 8vo, Navy cloth, paper spine label, rough cut edges. Worn, hinges starting, black 'X' to spine below label and red 'X' through title page (reasons unapparent), backstrip detached 2' down rear hinge; structurally sound and unmarked otherwise. Title page notes 'Profits to be given in aid of a new Church or Chapel at Leeds.' E. B. Pusey was a leader of the Anglo-Catholic Oxford Movement and coordinated funding for the construction of St. Saviour's Chapel in a poor district of Leeds. It retains an Anglo-Catholic character to this day.

Etat : Fair. 1898. No Edition Remarks. 244 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Rough-cut pages. Light foxing and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges. Light cracking and creasing to gutters; some slight looseness to binding but pages remain attached; cracking heavier to front hinge. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
