Christmas card and article signed by Eugenia Rawls and inscribed to Laurraine (Goreau). This lot includes a book of poetry by Eugenia entitled In Twilight Swings, a playbill from the Joseph Jefferson Theatre Co. announcing Eugenia's narration of Memory of a Large Christmas, a signed and inscribed Christmas card, and a signed article written by Eugenia entitled Another Tallulah, referencing her fellow actor from the Broadway production of "The Little Foxes," Tallulah Bankhead. Bankhead would go on to become Eugenia's lifelong mentor. Eugenia Rawls (1929-2000) was an American actress born in Macon, Georgia, who was known for her work in film, television, and theater. She began her career in the 1950s and gained recognition for her performances in various stage productions. One of her notable roles was in the Broadway production of "Look Homeward, Angel" in 1957. In addition to her work in theater, Rawls appeared in several television shows during the 1960s and 1970s, including guest roles on popular series such as "Perry Mason" and "The Twilight Zone." She also had a film career, with appearances in movies like "One Potato, Two Potato" (1964) and "The Green Years" (1946), where she played the character Kate Leckie.

Seldes starred with Bankhead in the ill-fated Tennesee Williams' play, *The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore*, which was Bankhead's final Broadway production. Laid in is a belly band with blurbs about the book from Mary Martin, Helen Hayes. Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Vincent Price, and Paul Green.
