Livre
Hardcover. Etat : Poor. No Jacket. 384 pages, illus. Not dated but assumed to be 1897 as that is the year indicated on the prize presentation certificate stuck to front pastedown. Binding a little one-sided; bumping to spine; wear and damage to corners, in the case of rear top corner extending downwards by 2cm; some page binding weaknesses in first few pages; end papers foxed; odd mark internally; but biggest negative is damage to vast majority of pages along line of top open corner which in many instances has resulted in a portion of the page (maybe 2.5cm square at worst) missing, though what caused this is not clear (see further uploaded pics for attempt to show this damage). Overall thus poor condition, effectively a reading copy (though perfectly readable).
