Boards worn and chipped at edges and detached. Binding split cleanly between p 112 & 113. Paper over spine chipping away with loss. Shabby externals with damaged binding. Content clean and complete. Should be recased or rebacked. Fair only thus.

Hardcover. Etat : Good. No Jacket. Full Leather binding with marbled end papers and edge of page block. Front cover is a little loose. Small prize inscription inside, slightly tanned pages.
Leather. Etat : Fair. None (illustrateur). A romantic poetical work set within ten cantos. First edition. From the author of "Edwy and Elgiva" and "Sir Everard". In a calf binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, a trifle rubbed and worn, with splitting to the spine. Front board is detached, yet present, and rear board is held by the cords only. Internally, firmly bound, aside from the front free endpaper working loose, bright and clean aside from the odd spot to endpapers. Overall: FAIR with a VERY GOOD interior. Fair. book.

Hardcover. First Edition. 5.25 x 8.5in. lv. 525pp. Bound in three quarters polished calf over marbled boards of the period. Re-cased in recent archival cloth with the original titling laid down. Marbled endpapers. VERY GOOD. Shows marginal loss from the original binding, boards somewhat rubbed, former owner name of the period neatly on the title page, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
