This is a humorous collection of rhymes, "A Mother Goose for Antique Collectors" by Alice Van Leer Carrick and Kenneth Allen Robinson. 1927 1st edition, 1st printing (stated); Payson & Clarke; New York. With numerous illustrations by Dwight Taylor. The book is a spoof on classic Mother Goose rhymes (such as Old Mother Hubbard, Jack and Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock, Little Miss Muffet, etc.) retold for antique collectors. Condition: Light tanning/age-toning to the covers; the end papers and pastedowns are tanned from the dust jacket flaps. (Note - the complete dust jacket is not included - the back cover and rear flap were found in two separate pieces tucked in at the back of the book.) Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. About ten pages at the front have a small stain at the top and bottom edge.the rest of the pages are clean. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.

The dust jacket has pieces missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine and at the top flap corners; the paper has somewhat faded at the spine.overall the jacket is in Good condition. (The dust jacket comes with a clear protective sleeve - not shown.).
