More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards.

Published by the present proprietors of the Godbout River: Mrs. Madge Frazer, J.H. Molson and F. Stuart Molson. The Godbout River is a medium sized Atlantic salmon river located in the Cote-Nord region of Quebec and at the time of publication was noted for its large salmon. With information on early history on the river and its fishing; physical characteristics; logging,; poaching and predators plus a table of salmon caught between 1859 and 1958. In Charles Wood's "Bibliotheca Salmo Salar" he states this book "a notorious rarity. I looked for more than twenty years for a copy of this pamphlet. It is quite handsomely produced.it is a delightful read." This copy is in VG condition with mild cover wear, bearing a signed presentation to former owner from Stuart Molson. Most uncommon as the OCLC locates but 3 copies-all in Canada. Wood #82.
