Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is bright.

Buckram. Etat : Near very Good. First Edition. 1st edition. 124 pages. It is described as "A Tribute to Those Who Won the Supreme Award for Valour in the Years 1940-45". There is the odd illustration in colour, a number of photographs in black and white and a large number of photographic plates in sepia depicting the recipients of this award together with their potted biography. Internally very good and tight but there is a corner of the first page of the index about 7cm x 8 cm which is missing. In original burgundy buckram gilt hard cover binding with design blind stamped on front cover. Slight rubbing at top and bottom of spine . Near Very Good.
