Forest green cloth boards with gilt ibex and title on front board, gilt printing and bear on spine with some loss to the gilt on the top decorative bar. Mild rubbing to corners and back edge of spine; faint lightening to bottom edge of front board, a little to spine and a few small spots at top back board near spine. Back board slightly warped. Very light foxing to end papers. Tipped-in prints many in color. Interior of book is clean and looks unused.

Heavy item (1.5 kg), additional postage may be required for international delivery. A very good copy. A postumously published selection of Himalayan hunting stories, beautifully illustrated by the author, who was killed in action in France on 19th December 1914.

Full brown paper DUST JACKET with black titles and decorations, couple of verital creases on front flap, some light wear and soiling, with a couple of small chips and very short tears at edges.
