The book is bound in grey cloth with blue titling and decoration: all clean and bright except for fading to spine tips. There is also bumping to spine tail and the boards are slightly cocked. Firmly bound. A few spots to edges but contents clean without bookplates, inscriptions, foxing or other markings. x, 223 pp; b/w photos. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Informative and entertaining account of the first evacuation of children from Britain to Australia during the Second World War. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
