Cloth is lightly rubbed on the outer joints and edge worn on the corners. Binding cords slightly visible after the front blank end paper. but the front and rear hinges are intact. Inscription written on the front blank end sheet reads - "To Dr. J. C. Craig from Blaine Lambert - In appreciation of his leadership in the later religious development of Northwestern Minnesota." Ojibway Country covered the Dakotas, Iowa, Wisconsin and Manitoba, Canada.
