Mass Market Paperback. Etat : Good. Sherwan, Earl (illustrateur). First Paperback Edition. Dell Mapback. No. 201. First US paperback edition although there was a Tauchnitz paperback edition in 1902. Originally published in hard covers in the UK by Newnes and in the US by Bowen-Merrill in 1901. Quite a heavy vertical crease down the length of the front cover which also has some surface creasing and peeling to the laminate around the edges. One inch closed tear to the top edge of the rear cover which has quite heavy peeling to the laminate along the left sidet the corners. Edge rubbing to the spine. Some browning to the edges of the pages. Small tear to the top edge of the first page. Browning to pages which are otherwise unmarked. Cover illustration by Earl Sherwan. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
