Illustrated with dozens of examples, a guide for librarians considering designing and printing a bookplate for their institution's library.

Designed and printed by William R. Hollman under his Roger Beacham imprint, with a revealing inscription at the colophon: "This volume contains over a dozen bookplates which I had to design - in order to complete the work. William R. Holman." . Oblong 4to, [4], 11pp and the bulk unpaginated with color facsimiles on rectos and captions on versos. Notes on typefaces and index at rear. Signed and inscribed by the designer, William R. Holman at the colophon. Black cloth backed blue paper boards with printed labels on spine and front cover. Nearly fine with some rubbing at corners in like, acetate jacket.
