First edition [1937] in fair condition, signed by the author and dated 12/7/39 on the front free endpaper. Turqoise cloth with paper spine label, 92 pages, dustjacket. The book has unevenly faded covers and vague old dampstains, good hinges, sound text block, smudged front free endpaper, transparent rippling to the top edge of the final few pages due to past moisture exposure (no musty odor), pages otherwise clean and free from other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has considerable surface soil and spotting, chips to upper edges and spine ends, about two to three percent paper loss overall. Signed by the Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
